The Southeast Valley of Phoenix, Arizona welcomes a new 18-hole
championship golf course designed by Gary Panks and managed
by Troon Golf. Located in Florence and nestled in the latest
Anthem master plan community.
Poston Butte Golf Club at Merrill Ranch is
an upscale daily fee 18-hole championship golf course designed
by Gary Panks and managed by Troon Golf. The course is a par
72 and offers 5 sets of tees ranging from 5,300 yards - 7,300
yards in length. The clubhouse offers a full service golf
shop complete with the latest in golf equipment and fashion.
There is also a food & beverage snack bar located next
to the golf shop and a beautiful outdoor dining patio overlooking
the practice putting green. The practice facilities encompass
a full length driving range with multiple target greens, a
large practice putting green, and a short game practice green
complete with a sand bunker. All the practice facilities are
conveniently located steps from the clubhouse and in between
the #1 and #10 tee area.

Poston Butte Golf Club is located in the city of Florence,
approximately 45 minutes "outside of town".
Phoenix
(101 Route)
101 south to the new 202 east (San Tan Freeway). Exit Gilbert
road and turn south 5.8 miles. Turn east on Riggs road 9.5
miles until dead end. Turn South on Hunt Highway for 13 miles;
Poston Butte is located in the development of Anthem at Merrill
Ranch on left. Turn left at Merrill Ranch Pkwy. Poston Butte
is 1 mile down on the left hand side.
Phoenix (I-10 Route)
I-10 East toward Tucson until exit 185. Turn left across bridge
to 387 and continue 8 miles until the road dead ends at AZ-87.
Turn right on AZ-87 towards Coolidge/Florence for 9.8 miles
until first traffic light. At the traffic light continue forward
through the light for 3 miles driving east (note the road
becomes AZ-287 beyond the traffic light) until reaching Attaway
Road. Turn left on Attaway road for 2.9 miles until dead end.
Turn left on Hunt Highway for 1.5 miles. Poston Butte is located
in the development of Anthem at Merrill Ranch on right. Turn
right at Merrill Ranch Pkwy. Poston Butte is 1 mile down on
the left hand side.
East
US-60 east to exit 212 AZ-79. Go south for 9.5 miles. Turn
West on Arizona Farms Road for 9.2 miles. Turn South on Hunt
Highway for 4.6 miles. Poston Butte is located in the development
of Anthem at Merrill Ranch on left. Turn left at Merrill Ranch
Pkwy. Poston Butte is 1 mile down on the left hand side.
