It might "not be to your liking" if you're looking for "your typical desert course", but this "links" layout with "really tight" routing and many mounds designed by Roy Dye, Pete's brother, and redone in stones and creeks by Arthur Hills is "challenging and fun" if you're not a stickler for Southwestern style; a "staff that works hard to make sure you enjoy yourself" flips the "best flapjacks west of the Mississippi" and may even "send you a plaque, the ball" and your scorecard if you "get a hole-in-one."

Profile: This course is a links-style design featuring water hazards coming into play on five holes. The fairways are hilly, and the new greens are fast. The course had been redesigned by Greg Nash in 1984, Jack Snyder in 1986 and Arthur Hills in 1989. This club hosts the LPGA Mitsubishi Pro Am and other local tournaments every year.
