A
"gem" was dropped "out in the country,
but by a stroke of genius", it landed "next
to a wonderful resort" say treasure hunters who've
stumbled upon this guests-only desert "challenge";
long hitters say "hats off" to a "fantastic"
design where "you can really let the shaft out",
though a few say flatly there are "more hills than
you can deal with", adding "look out for rattlesnakes",
and Replublicans -- " ex-Vice President Dan Quayle
plays here."

| Profile:
This traditional high-desert golf course was designed by Greg
Nash & Jeff Hardin and is a GOLF Magazine Silver Medalist
Resort for 2002. Los Caballeros opened for play January 1979.
The fairways present some subtle elevation changes. The medium-sized
greens are nicely undulated and fast. Water comes into play
on two holes. The course plays from 5,264 to 6,970-yards and
there are three sets of tees. The club is closed Monday's during
the summer (Mother's Day through September 30). The club is
then closed for overseeding for 15 days during the last part
of September and early October. |
