Currently
we have 28
golf courses profiled as "Desert". Usually what
people think of when they think of Arizona Golf! Chances are
you won't be able to find your ball once it enters the prickly
stuff, much less hit it. For
a full list of Desert Courses, CLICK HERE. Arizona Golf
at its finest!
MUST
PLAY:Gold
Canyon-Dinosaur and Eagle
Mountain
TIP:
Bring a lot of extra balls to these courses and don't go looking
for a lost ball--chances are a snake or a Biting Cactus will
find you!

Currently,
we have 16
golf courses profiled as "No Desert". These
courses are a nice retreat from the typical Desert Courses.
These are typically a few degrees cooler in the Summer as
they have more trees. Click for a list of Traditional Courses.
MUST
PLAY: The
Raven at South Mountain.
TIP:
It's easy to start getting over-confident on "Non-Desert"
courses. Our advice? DON'T!

We
have categorized 7
golf courses as being mixed or having some desert, meaning
they aren't True Desert or Traditional. These courses may
be schizophrenic as they my vary greatly from front nine to
back nine or they may be Traditional in nature with some desert
plants off the Green stuff.
Great
views close to Downtown Phx: Phantom

City
owned courses. Usually less exciting, but also less damage
is done to your wallet, unless you check out our Specials
Page! One of the best rated "Muni's" in the
country is Papago.
Executive
courses are shorter but still a lot of fun! Good for beginners
or an afternoon round if time doesn't permit for a Championship
course. We think you will enjoy the island green on Shalimar
Country Club!
